Lenny Kravitz Says There’s More to Cinna than ‘Creating Costumes’
The folks at IGN sat down with Lenny Kravitz to discuss his role as Cinna and found that, for someone who didn’t read the “Hunger Games” series until he won the part, the actor/singer understood his stylish, warm-hearted character really well.
He gets it, Mockingjays. HE GETS IT.
I have to admit, I was one of the people who had doubts about Lenny being cast as Cinna. And now? I have doubts about my sanity. 
He’s perfect for the role!

New Picture of Cinna and Katniss in ‘Rolling Stone’
Rolling Stone magazine posted an interview today of Lenny Kravitz talking about the Hunger Games movie, which included the new picture below of him as Cinna with Katniss. It looks like it’s the scene right before Katniss enters the arena.

Kravitz took the role after meeting with director Gary Ross (Pleasantville) and reading the first book of the best-selling trilogy by Suzanne Collins. “I thought it was really good storytelling,“ Kravitz says. “I’m very much into stories. The character was interesting. I like Gary’s previous work. And I said, Yeah, let’s go.”
