Parody: Lana Del Rey’s “Hunger Games”

Though I don’t remember where, I recently read someone’s comment wondering why there wasn’t a Hunger Games parody of Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games” and I thought to myself  “Yea, good point. Why isn’t there a parody?”. Lo and behold today I come across this video that was posted yesterday of Second City’s Holly Laurent doing a pretty good Lana Del Rey impression. How lucky is that!

 

I think my favorite lyric from this would have to be “A pita is a pouch of bread, but that’s his name”. As always, what do you think of this parody? Do you have a favorite lyric?

    My favorite Parody is the with Mandy doing the vocals… It was awesome… I didn’t really like this one…

      Oh, I believe she’s also poking fun at the actual Lana Del Rey music vid which has random clips of cartoons and people’s home movies, hence the random clips in the parody

    Not the best… But I love Lana Del Rey :P I happened to hear a couple of songs of her’s 3 days ago and I really liked some of them, i’m actually listening to this at the moment haha
