Official Illustrated Movie Companion and Tribute Guide Now Available!

The Hunger Games Official Illustrated Companion and The Hunger Game Tribute Guide are now in stores. Also available starting today is the movie tie-in edition of the novel.

The Illustrated Companion reveals a host of new scenes including the interior of an airship, the chariot parade and a purple-shagged lounge with Cinna, Effie, Haymitch, Katniss, Peeta, Lavinia and Portia.

District 9′s female tribute Annie Thurman posted previews on Facebook if you want a very spoiler-filled glimpse of what’s in store.

Lavinia is the name of the Avox girl. Peeta learn her name in the third book while he is being torchured by the capitol. They had cells next to each other.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! This looks SOOOO cool!!! When I saw it I screamed at the top of my lungs, (waking up everyone that was sleeping at my house…oops). I love each and every one of the pictures. Who is in the chariot picture? Is that District 1? That’s my best guess! I love how they showed all of the interview pictures! Rue looks darling in both of her pictures! Also, in the picture with Efie, Cinna, Haymitch, Katniss, Peeta and Portia, (Very interesting hair by the way ), Is that the avox girl in the backround?? Idk… but I want to know! Every one of the tributes look exactly like I pictured them to be!!!

Sorry if I was talking kinda fast but… I’m just really exited!!! Gotta go and tell my mom to get me the book while I’m at school!!!

I just saw a huge poster of Journey 2 while passing by the movie theater, and I was all excited beacause Josh is in it.. Imagine when it will be the Hunger Games poster aaaaa I can’t wait! Hope we get to see some higher quality of those pictures soon

If the woman with the crazy curly hair is Portia, then I’m kind of disappointed. I always pictured her as looking like Cinna, like a pair of coordinating twins.

The Hob looks amazing, Katniss’s bedroom is shown in the Tribute Guide along with weapons and lots more pics of the training center, and I can’t believe they built that huge warehouse-sized tree!
