Jennifer Lawrence Turns Down Offer To Star In ‘The Seventh Son’

Jennifer Lawrence (aka Katniss Everdeen) was reportedly offered a part in the movie The Seventh Son, and had turned down the role due to her commitment to the Hunger Games -

Offers were originally out to Beastly star Alex Pettyfer and Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence, who won’t be joining now that she’s off to star in Lionsgate’s Hunger Games. Neither will Pettyfer.

As per the above statement — Alex Pettyfer was also offered a role in the movie, however he turned it down as well.  Interesting, due the fact that he has been rumored to be in the running for the part of Peeta Mellark!
