Another still from The Hunger Games movies has popped up in an LA Time article A Year in Movies: 101 Films of 2012. This shot is actually page 40 of the article:

This is the first photo I’ve seen with Effie sporting a green wig and Haymitch with a drink in his hand. Which scene do you think this still is from? Are they watching a recap of the reaping? Finding out their training scores? Let us know your thoughts.

    I think they’re about to find out what their training scores are as they seem apprehensive and maybe even worried. And it looks like Haymitch is preparing to get his drink on. :)

    Training scores definintly who do u think is wearing the red pants,I think peeta based on past photos with haymitch cinna and peeta .so excited 4march 24!

      It comes out march 23. I’m so excited! Definatley training scores, Effie has a green wig, at the reaping she had a pink wig, unless she changes it every four hours of course!

    But yeah, onto subject, it does look like they’re waiting for the training scores.  I can see someone wearing red pants in the far right corner.

    I definitely think its Peeta to the right of Katniss in the red pants based on the past picture with Haymitch, Cinna, and Peeta. Its also probably when they are waiting for the training scores.

    They probably are waiting for their training scores because you can see red pants in the right corner which is most likely Peeta. He was wearing those same pants in the picture with him, Cinna, and Haymitch.

    It’s definitely the training scores because they watched the reapings in a train and that’s not the train :)

        I don’t remember them watching the recap of their interviews, I think they just “went to sleep” and started the games the next day.

          I’m pretty sure they watch the replay of their interviews because Katniss thinks that she seems shallow spinning around in the dress, while Peeta is charming – then the go to sleep as the games are the next day.

    i was worried that haymitch looked “too together” in all the pictures that had been released of him, but now i’m happy to see him looking like the drunk that i imagined him as :)

    I believe it is when the team is watching th recap and the scores from training. Fore Haymitch as I recall, took a drink at that point.

    PLus Peeta was wearing the same pants in the other photo, and Haymitch with his suit, something tells me Cinna is close by. Most likely in a same time frame or scene from the last picture.

    yeah is not a secret that the are wating for the training scores beacause of peeta’s pants. Oh and who had seen the trailer notice that they did the tree finger respect sign with the rigth hand  in the book it said with the left so am i rigth or wrong? please respond!

      I totally notice that too the first time I watched the trailer!!! It made me really upset cuz that is like one of the most dramatic parts of the book to me! It gives me chills every time! I didn’t say anything cuz I didn’t want to ruin it for other people:( oh well though…… :”(

    Ok now, in all seriousness, I this this picture is from them waiting the presentation of their training scores. Peeta wears red pants for the training/ game makers private session. I believe this is later on in the day when they go back and watches the scores. Katniss I believe changes clothes after she goes and cries he eyes out in her room before watching the scores, right???  Why cut peeta out??? I wanted to see more of him. But personally I’m a Finnick person

    I think they are watching their training scores.  Haymitch is holding a drink because he was nervous after they told him about the sessions.  Peata is obviously there.  Katniss looks about as nervous as she could be at that time.  AND there is a concrete wall the back ground so their obviously not on the train.
