Hunger Games: Nothing original in the plot. Making the sacrifice for family, protecting the weak, facing dangers for friends and the readiness to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to defeat a malicious foe (themes we haven’t seen in a movie for a long time). But put it all together with a beautiful talented actress, together with an equally talented supporting cast, an interesting script and excellent direction and you’ve got a block buster.
