Oh, yeah. Watch all the action and excitement! I have a few comments I’d like to add about what actually happened there, since I was there today starting at 1:00. It wasn’t busy at first, considering  there was an MTV interview going on around the corner with the same 3 actors that were going to come to the premier, attracting a lot of people.  At the premier, they started playing songs from the album at around 2:30, and nothing happened after that until 3:00, when about 20 peacekeepers marched out and stood against the gate separating us from the road (they stayed like that for about an hour, then started chit chatting among themselves). So far, this was about all of the decoration, apart from some guys waving flags with the mockingjay pin on them.  We were all expecting them to close off the street when it got closer to the event, but they never did. The entire premier was on the sidewalk, and probably took up less than 100m lengthwise. They had already separated the fans into two lines, those with tickets and those without (the lines taking about about 85 metres in length together, so you do the math of how long the actual event was) The lines led away from the entrance to the theater, so if you weren’t the first ten in line (which I was, luckily), you couldn’t see anything. We were waiting for the interviews to finish up, because we were expecting the actors to then come and walk down in front of the lines from the parking lot to the theater, hopefully stopping periodically to sign autographs. Well, the interviews did finish up, but instead of seeing the actors, we saw their cars with tinted windows drive by and into the parking lot, as we were greeted by a whole bunch of fans that had gone to the MTV interview (who ALREADY had autographs) who disregarded the lines and started standing around the red carpet right outside the entrance to the theater that has just been roped off. The fans in line without tickets started realizing that the actors were likely going to step out of the theater into that small area, and forget about all the fans that hadn’t just come from this interview. Guess what happened. Not only did the kids that had just showed up get all of the autographs and photos, they also ran over the barriers and swarmed the actors. The only person I saw was Alexander Ludwig, because he came out first and nobody had pushed through the barriers yet.  I didn’t even see Liam Hemsworth or Josh Hutcherson.  I didn’t even SEE them!  Some of the people in the front of the line, who had now been waiting 12 hours, didn’t get any autographs because the actors were swarmed by those who had not waited at all.  The worst part in this is that the organizers just stood by and weren’t any help.  Some of us waiting were OK, though, because we were told that there might be 10-20 extra seats in the theater that we might be able to get. So after the actors disappeared into the theater (they were out signing for about 3 minutes each), those in charge decided to let us wait for 20 minutes before telling us that there were definitely no tickets. Basically, it was a poorly organized event, where the main attraction lasted about 10 minutes, and I left without an autograph, picture, barely even a single SIGHTING of an actor, and 5 hours of my day gone.  I made out better than a lot of people though. The people behind me probably couldn’t even hear the music.  I’m still excited for the movie, though. Nothing, not even the worst premier ever, can destroy my great hunger for hunger games!
